It was a nice surprise to learn of the 102 Inf. Div. Assn. I often wondered what happened to those fellows I started out with the last part of Nov. 1942. Then I joined Co. F, 3rd platoon of the 405th Reg. I was in the 3rd platoon all the while until the 30th of Nov. 1944 when I was wounded. From there I went to England until my discharge in Feb. of 1946. In 1988 I made a trip to Paris, Tx., and Camp Maxey. I find a small part is now used as a National Guard Hqtrs. The rest has been sold. I didn't recognize any part of it. Are any of the real old timers still around that I started out with in 1942 -- if so, I' d like their addresses.
